This page explains how to request deletion of personal information or user-submitted content associated with BeachScout or ScoutPlatform.

How to request deletion

Send a request using the email address listed on the Contact page.

Include in your request

• Your name or contact email.
• The app or service involved, such as BeachScout.
• The type of data you want deleted.
• For submitted photos or descriptions, include the beach/place name and any details that help identify the content.

What can be deleted

• Personal contact information received through support requests.
• User-submitted photos or descriptions, where we can identify them.
• Other personal information associated with your request, where applicable.

Anonymous analytics

Some analytics may be stored in anonymous or aggregated form and may not be possible to connect to a specific user. Anonymous aggregate data may be retained to protect service integrity and understand usage trends.

Processing

Deletion requests will be reviewed and handled as soon as reasonably possible. We may keep limited records where required for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons.
